Which? Praises New Volkswagen Golf Plus

Which? has published an article today discusses the benefits on investing in a new Volkswagen Golf Plus. The magazine is known to provide unbiased advice on products after they have been thoroughly tested by the Which? teams, meaning that the praise will be extremely beneficial to Volkswagen’s sales.

Which? has described the Volkswagen Plus as being a more spacious version of the standard five door VW Golf, which benefits from more headroom and enough space to sit three in the back in relative comfort. They go on to say that the new VW fits somewhere in between a full-on people carrier and an estate, which means that VW are offering an alternative option to the market for anyone that is looking for a good sized family car. Furthermore, Which? has said that there are currently some great deals in the car market for the VW Golf Plus, meaning that even those on a tight budget may be able to treat themselves.

One deal that they discuss is where you can get over three thousand pounds off a VW Golf Plus 1.6 diesel. They are particularly excited by this deal as in their opinion the 1.6 diesel is their top choice of engine, especially as it provides 58.9 miles per gallon and is great for those that do a lot of motorway driving. With some companies offering over three thousand pounds off this version of the car the selling price can be as low as £16,995.

If you prefer a petrol vehicle, Which? has said that some sellers are offering them at under £16,000, even with a 1.4 engine. They advise however that the SE version could be a better investment than the standard S model, as it includes extras such as 16-inch alloy wheels, a convenience pack, and park an assist – all of which will make the car easier to resell if you choose to in the future.

If you are planning on buying a car in the New Year, make sure you shop around to get the best price. And don’t forget to check the price of the car insurance for the vehicle, so that you are properly covered and can enjoy your new purchase in safety.
