It’s never been a better time to be a car buyer. As an ever increasing number of car manufacturers are offering reduced deals to potential customers, new car sales in the UK are continuing to boom. But with so many deals now on offer to the customer, identifying the very best deals has become even harder.
Here at MotorQuoteDirect, we have compiled a list of what we consider to be some of the best value for money cars currently on offer in 2013:
Smart styling and practicality
Starting with the bestselling car of 2012, the Ford Focus is a great little package, combining excellent driveability with smart styling and practicality. Available from just £233 per month for a 1.6 litre TDCi diesel Titanium model, the Focus offers very good value for money too.
Another car that oozes style, offering a host of features as standard, is the SEAT Leon. This 1.8 litre Tsi FR hot hatchback can be picked up for £252 per month, with a £1,720 deposit, saving the customer over £3,000 in total.
The term Skoda was at one time a name that would only cause a snicker amongst car buyers but nowadays the Skoda name is associated with some of the most reliable, affordable cars on the market. The SE 1.2 litre Fabia model in particular is an excellent family hatchback which, even at full price, is cheaper than fellow rivals in its range. With Skoda currently offering a 25% discount on the car as well, you can pick up a brand new Fabia for under £9000, making it a very affordable option for most budgets.
Stylish and efficient
Staying with the family car market the Kia Cee’d is a stylish and efficient family vehicle that comes packaged with the firm’s much lauded seven-year warranty. If you opt for the ‘1’ model you’ll not just receive £900 off but might even qualify for a year’s car insurance for under £100 – a great deal no matter how you look at it.
If your interest is the higher end of the market, we would recommend checking out the Jaguar XF. A premium saloon, with both elegant exterior and interior, the XF boasts a host of modern accessories and features that the majority of car owners would cast an envious eye over. At £499 per month it may still seem on the steep side, however with 0% finance on the 2.2 litre diesel model and Jaguar’s renowned after-care service, many would still consider the car to be a top bargain.
