Driving Abroad – Norway – Car Insurance
Norway has some of the strictest laws on drink driving in the whole of Europe. The government has set the drink drive limit at 10mg meaning that even a single mouthful of alcohol could put you over the national limit. If your reading exceeds 20mg then you our likely to face prison, harsh but right for its reason of being enforced. Speed limits are also monitored heavily by the authorities who will issue heavy on-the-spot fines if you are caught.

When filling up your tank at petrol stations you may notice a red-coded diesel. DO NOT use this diesel if you are running a diesel car. This type of fuel is only meant for farmyard vehicles and could do damage to your vehicle.
